The FootWork pressure plate accurately records and displays foot pressure data for clinical examination. Unlike other systems, FootWork can record a multitude of samples displaying the results as an average, greatly improving accuracy and interpretation.

Routine Podiatry/Chiropody
This treatment includes routine nail care and removal of any hard skin or corns. Conditions such as athletes foot and fungal nails will also be dealt with.

Biomechanical Assessment
Foot, lower limb and back pain can be caused by many factors. A biomechanical assessment aims to find and treat the cause by looking at the structure of the foot and how the joints, bones and soft tissues work together to support and move the body.

Ingrown Toenail Treatment
Problematic ingrown toenails will be carefully removed and any associated infection will be treated. An anaesthetic may be given to numb the area.

Diabetic Footcare
This treatment includes skin and nail care, wound prevention and the assessment of the nerve and blood supply to ensure optimum foot health.

Nail Surgery
Persistant ingrown toenails may need to be permanently removed by this specialist procedure. It is carried out under local anaesthetic to ensure the patient feels no pain and a chemical will be applied to prevent regrowth.

Nail Cutting Service
This treatment is designed for patients who have problematic nails that require additional care. Conditions such as thickened, irregular or fungal nails are treated with specialised equipment.

Hampden Foot Clinic was first established in 2013 in Mount Florida by Heather Munro with the aim to create a superior patient focused service offering a wide range of podiatry treatments in a friendly and relaxed environment. Our clinic in Mount Florida is easily accessible by car and has fantastic public transport links right on our doorstep. We also offer late night appointments to patients who cannot attend during the day.
We have now expanded further and are providing services to patients in the comfort of their own home, and to care homes around Glasgow / surrounding areas
All our practitioners are fully qualified and HCPC registered. We believe we have the best podiatrists on board and can guarantee you will leave Hampden Foot Clinic walking on air.
